RAM Memory Restrictions
RAM memory allocation restrictions are built into SetRAM; the slider will not allow you reset the memory
beyond the terminal’s capabilities.
Total User RAM
121 MB Total RAM available for file system and program memory minus kernel
overhead.
Min Program RAM
31 MB Minimum amount of memory allowed for program memory.
Min File Sys RAM
16 MB Minimum amount of memory allowed for the file system.
RAM File %
50 Percentage of the Total User RAM allocated to the file system.
Actual File RAM
60 MB The actual amount of memory allocated for the file system.
Actual Prog RAM
60 MB The actual amount of memory allocated for the program memory.
Slider
XX%
50% The RAM file % represented by the slider position. This percentage
updates as you move the slider.
Valid Split % Range
13%–75% Valid % range that can be used when setting file system size. If set
out of range, value will be set to closest min or max.
File MB: & Prog MB:
60 The actual file and program memory (in MBs) represented by the
slider position. These numbers update as you move the slider.
